Hand-Loomed Gobelino Tapestry (Tierra)

Hand-Loomed Gobelino Tapestry (Tierra)

325.00

A gorgeous example of master textile artist Pedro Romo de la Rosa's finest work, this one-of-a-kind gobelino tapestry was custom designed by Pedro for Helado Rosa's limited-edition autumn collection.

A third-generation textile artist in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Pedro's work has been shown in a number of galleries throughout Mexico, as well as the MoMA in NYC. We're honored to carry one of his stunning art pieces, which was crafted entirely by hand from start to finish — including dyeing every last strand of wool, and meticulously weaving the tapestry on a pedal loom that he built himself. Please see notes below regarding dimensions, care instructions, etc.

DIMENSIONS: 36" wide, 24" high (without fringe, which is 20" at its longest point).

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Dry clean only, once every two years. To dust, carefully shake the gobelino outside, once every 2-3 months. A warm iron may be used to smooth any creases as a result of shipping or storage. Do not iron the gobelino directly—protect the surface by ironing through a bed sheet or other piece of fabric.
